In order to increase social insurance payments among artisanal miners, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection conducted capacity building training in Chinggis city, Khentii aimag, in May for government officials and officers from ASM density soums.

The topics covered included the social insurance legal environment, legislative implementation, and the best practices of artisanal miners paying social insurance. There was also a discussion between the officials and artisanal miners aimed at sharing knowledge and opinions.
