Dr. Amarsaikhan, Mongolia’s leading Geographic Information System (GIS) expert, last week facilitated a 2 day training session on GIS and Database Management for staff at the Mineral Resources Information Technology Center (MRITC). The training aimed to strengthen the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the MRPAM staff in these areas. This training was supported by the Australia-Mongolia Extractives Program (AMEP). AMEP project is supporting MRPAM to establish an integrated geoscience database in Mongolia.
