This pamphlet highlights the key outcomes of the planetGOLD Mongolia project, showcasing achievements in formalizing the artisanal and small-scale gold mining sector, improving access to responsible gold markets, promoting mercury-free technologies, strengthening gender equality, and building capacity among miners and local authorities. It also highlights extensive awareness-raising efforts through public campaigns, educational events, and knowledge materials to inform and engage stakeholders on responsible mining and the dangers of mercury use.
